Indian, wearing feather headdress and carrying spear, rides bareback on horse; broad, open plain in distance.
Printed title (LC). Printed (LL): From a sketch by Ch[arle]s Koppel; (LR): Lith. by A. Hoen & Co., Balt[im]o[re]. Likely from the United States Pacific Railroad Survey in California, under the command of Lieut. R.S. Williamson, in 1853-54 (based on similarity to others in series).
