Description
The photos in the brown leatherbound album showcase various scenes from different landmarks in California, Nevada, and Colorado taken by Charles B. Turrill. Inside front cover contains a symbol with the letters "M.C.S.". Each photo has a small description on the bottom of the page. The most frequent locations featured in the album include Mt. Shasta, Mt. Tallac, the Sisson's Hotel, and Black Butte. Other scenes include the American River, Lake Tahoe, Pyramid Peak, Upper Soda Springs, and Placerville. The photographs of B. Kelly, F. Pollrman, J.W. Christiency, J.D. Hatch, J.L. Brooks, and W.A. White are captioned on page four.
