Description
Collection of newspaper clippings covering the Zoological Society of San Diego, its staff and collections, and other zoos. This volume also contains photos and other San Diego Zoo memorabilia including a black and white photograph of Dr. Harry Wegeforth, a copy of the proposed layout of the San Diego Zoological Gardens in Balboa Park in 1922 and a copy of the 1923 Financial Statement for the Zoological Society.
