Description
A view of cortical fibers except the observer is looking at a cross-sectioned cell as though from anterior toward the posterior end of the cell; in this view the kd sections are seen on the left side of the ridge. Striated bands always lie closer to the epiplasm than the infraciliary lattice. TEM taken on 12/30/70 by R. Allen with Hitachi HU11A operating at 75kV. Neg. 33,750X. Bar = 0.1µm.
