Description
Malawisi, the Ambae Local Council House, in Navonda. The four small rooms in the back of the Council House was the home of the Rodmans for 14 months during their first trip to Aoba/Ambae in 1969-71. The Council House was quite new in 1970 - 23 years later, it was a ruin, deserted and uninhabitable.
