Description
Cells taken from stationary phase cultures often have larger lysosomes which contain additional paracrystalline layers. These lysosomes may be on their way to becoming the crystals which appear in larger numbers in stationary phase cells. TEM taken on 12/31/70 by R. Allen with Hitachi HU11A operating at 75kV.
