Description
Monitoring the submerged portions of the Hilina fault and landslide system on the southest flank of Kilauea Volcano. An array of sea floor precision acoustic transponders and benchmarks, installed in November 2000, are being resurveyed during this expedition to measure their horizontal and vertical motion over the past 16 months.
