Description
Transmission electron micrograph of segment of kidney cortex from a Rhesus monkey infused with 20% perfluorodecalin, 10% F68, 8 - 10 days after infusion at 50 cc/kg. Emulsion # 750519 <au 21 1975 - June 4 1975. Monkey weighed @3.5 kg. Image shows a glomerulus, phagocytosed perfluorodecalin emulsion particle footprints (edge pseudocolored in purple), podocyte processes, basement membrane, endothelial cells and podocytes with processes.
