Figure 363 from Chapter 15 (Cytoplasmic Inclusions) of 'The Cell, 2nd Ed.' by Don W. Fawcett M.D. A portion of a liver cell from the slender salamander, Batrachoseps attenuatus. This striking example of crystalline inclusion accumulation varies in the liver cells of the slender salamander by individual, and by season.
