Description
This group represents a serial series of sections. At the level of this section, the macronucleus and micronucleus are present. The buccal cavity with cilia and the spongiome of CV, membranelles of perioral ciliature, and oral cilia. TEM taken on 3/12/71 by R. Allen with Hitachi HU11A operating at 75kV. Neg. 3,800X. Bar = 2µm. Standard glutaraldehyde fixation followed by osmium tetroxide, dehydrated in alcohol and embedded in an epoxy resin. Microtome sections prepared thicker to accommodate the series.
