His right eye is a pustulating swollen mass caused by the lodgment of an arrow point some 6 or so years ago. I know of at least three people he has killed in the last 6 years. The fur pieces around his neck are possums, of which there are many varieties here, feather headress, nose plumes, all part of the ceremonial regalia. The chin shell is a mark of status. Actually a very unusual picture because most often Wanda doesn't dress up for ceremonials, also the mark of an influential man, he can get away with it." MSS187, Box 44, Folder 9. [Title, Date].
