Portrait of Zeng Cheng-Kui (formally C.K. Tseng) labeled "To my good friend Dennis, from C.K. Tseng". Zeng Chen-Kui a renown marine biologist known to the Academic Circle as C. K. Tseng, attended many American oceanographic institutions, including Scripps Institution of Oceanography as a Post-Doc in his earlier years. When he finally did return to communist China during WWII, he became the "Father of Chinese Oceanography". May 16, 1946
