Description
Transmission electron micrograph of four longitudinally cut ventricle muscle fibers of mouse cardiac tissue. Muscle fibers are multinucleate celsl composed of myofibrils that contract when stimulated. Also visible is the external lamina, which separates each muscle fiber into individual units.
