Description
Fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP)kinetics of MeCP2 were recorded using a mouse fibroblast cell line stably expressing MeCP2-GFP. Live cells were imaged using a Zeiss LSM 510 meta confocal microscope with fluorescence excitation at 488 nm and a 63x plan-apo oil lens. The image series has 2 pre-bleach shots, one immediately after bleaching a 1 micrometer diameter circle of pericentromeric heterochromatin, followed by 103 images at 2 sec intervals.
