Oda Aument seated in a chair with her hands in her lap. She wears an overcoat, hat, and gloves. She smiles warmly and looks to the left. Oda Aument was the niece of mining engineer Jacob Charles Denton. Denton was murdered by Louise Peete in 1920, a crime for which Peete received a sentencing of life in prison in 1921. Aument aided in this sentencing with her particularly damning testimony.
