Betty Barnes is seated in a folding chair in a room with magazine cutouts pasted on to the wall. She wears a dress with flowing sleeves and skirt with a silk waistband and a mink stole draped across her shoulders. She smiles at the camera warmly. Photo appears with the article "Marriage Found Void Because of Previous Union," Los Angeles Times, 28 Jul. 1927: A6. The 1930 Census records Betty and Nagel as a married couple.
