Description
A marimba band (unidentified) performs at the KHJ radio station as a weekly feature. The band specializes in playing early Spanish tunes. The negative is severely damaged at the bottom center, with cracks and missing pieces. There are smaller cracks on the top right of the negative. Possibly related to the article, "JAMBOREADORS ON AIR TONIGHT: Weekly Frolic Feature Will Begin at 8 o'clock Marimba Band Scheduled to Play Spanish Tunes Graf Banquet at Ambassador to be Broadcast," Los Angeles Times, 26 Aug. 1929: A5.
