Description
Photographed from the Physics Biology Building (Humanities Building), the south side (front) of Josiah Royce Hall rises against the Santa Monica Mountains. The Esplanade is more generally called Royce quadrangle and is known today as Dickson Plaza. Hoover took this photograph midway through the first academic year held on the new Westwood campus.
