Description
This card forms part of: Collection no. 311, History & Special collections for the Sciences, Louise Darling Biomedical Library, UCLA.
Front of card shows a woman, well dressed, with her right hand in a sling. The caption at the bottom says: Her burnt hand was bandaged, she suffered indeed. But now she is happy and gay. Carbolisalve promptly healed it with speed. 'Tis the only sure cure of the day.
The back of the card shows a smiling small girl and the text in mirror-image: Cole's Carbolisalve the great skin remedy cures burns & scalds. Leaves no scar. Carbolisalve will instantly relieve the pain.
At the top of the card in parentheses: Hold this card to the light.
