Description
EXTRA PRECAUTION--Officer Paul Lembke shows safety belt which has been installed in all Torrance police cars. Belt, molded after those worn by race drivers, has one strap over the left shoulder and other around waist. It is designed to keep driver's head from hitting the windshield in a collision.
