Description
ANSWER: It is the statue of Don Felipe de Neve, generally recognized as the founder of El Pueblo Nuestra Senora la Reina de Los Angeles. The statue, erected by Parlor 247 of the Native Daughters of the Golden West, stands in the Old Plaza. KNOW YOUR CITY, NO.74 -- this is a pretty famous fellow. (Naturally -- otherwise, would they erect his statue?) All you have to figure out is who he is, plus where this statue stands. Cinch if you know Los Angeles history. Answer Page 17, Part 1.
