Description
ANSWER: The figure in the statue with his walking staff and arm around an Indian boy is, of course, Father Junipero Serra. This rustically mounted sculpture besides an equally rustic fountain and pool stands in Brand Park and, in the background just across the street, is the San Fernando Mission. KNOW YOUR CITY, NO.128 -- You'll undoubtedly recognize the larger figure in this statue. So all you have to do is identify the surroundings. And remember, this is within the city limits of Los Angeles. If you can't guess, see Page 6, Part ll.
