The theme of the 49th Tourament of Roses Parade in 1938 was "Playland Fantasies"
City and county of San Francisco float entry in the 1938 Tournament of Roses Parade titled, "Pageant of the Pacific." Float featured a preview of the Golden Gate International Exposition of 1939 and was decorated with a replica of the exposition's "Treasure Island."
