Description
Various Baptist churches sponsored a "Baptist hour" at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday, May 30, 1954, which included the Unity Chorale Chorus (made up of choir members from many different churches). The principal speaker was the Reverend L. B. Moss (in some news stories he is identified as L. W. Moss), and Walter L. Gordon, Jr. was the MC for the event. All information concerning the content and description of the image was provided by Walter Gordon. First annual Baptist Hour Program, depicting the progress of the Baptist Church. Featuring the Unity Choral Chorus, composed of a united group of Baptist churches. Directors: Rev. K. D. Friend, Mrs. Eleanor Survine; Mr. H. P. Markham. Guest speaker Dr. L.B.
