U.S. Army, Wilmington (now in Los Angeles at L.A. Harbor) Calif. (see story attached) Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Drum Barracks story is only partially visible, in folded upside-down section of text at top. Main story on page is "The Miniature Theater Magnate," by Mayfield Allen. Text reads in part: ... soldiers were sent from Drum Barracks to Catalina Island, where new barracks were erected and garrisoned for awhile, after which the men were ordered back to their regular posts. ...
