Here is Mary Van Ness Leavitt of Santa Monica, Cal., sister of Herbert Hoover, secretary of commerce and a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination. She calls her distinguished brother “Bert.”, and in the Mason City Globe Gazette, Mason City, Iowa, March 8, 1928.
