The dress was from Jean Swartz's Fashion Salons on Hollywood Boulevard near Gower, and on Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills. Black "x" marks indicate areas of the photograph to be retouched. Handwritten on edge of photograph: R 14. Typed caption: Peggy Hamilton, wearing an exquisite creation in beige lace [dress], [with stole] trimmed with brown fur, suitable for afternoon or informal dinners, typical of the newest in fashions of the winter of 1930-1931.
