In 1926-1927, Crown Prince Gustav Adolf and Crown Princess Louise of Sweden made an international trip around the world to benefit Swedish interests, which was described as a great success, especially the trip to the USA, during which they travelled over the nation from New York to San Francisco. Crown Princess Louise and Crown Prince Gustav Adolf of Sweden presented with gifts at a reception at the Shrine Auditorium on the day of their arrival in Los Angeles. The painting behind them is a view of Santa Monica Bay through eucalypti by a local artist given by local Swedish-Americans. A bust portrait of Abraham Lincoln, on the right, by local Swedish sculptor Edstrom, was a gift of local Swedish-Americans. Crown Princess Louise holds a bouquet of flowers.
