The theme of the 1930 forty-first annual Rose Parade was "Festival Days in Flowers" Two men carrying signs reading "Olde Trojan War Hoss 'ain't What She Used to Be,'" accompanied by a horse, and "Mr. Coal & Mr. Soot from Pittsburgh" and two men in top coats. The location is the start of the parade route at the intersection of Colorado Blvd. and Orange Grove Blvd.
