Among notables in attendance at the opening sessions Thursday were Former Governor Friend W. Richardson, state building and loan commissioner; Sanford M. Anderson of Inglewood, retiring president of the League, and Philip Lieber of Shreveport, La., president of the United States Building-Loan League.
