Text from newspaper caption: Misses Gertrude Elshire, Barbara Lynn, Dorothy Dahl, Mary Hapcraft, Rosemary Perrins and Beatrice Wagner, members of Cosmos Club Juniors, are members of the leading verse speaking choir among women's groups. Mrs. Sarah Taft Teschke originated the art among clubwomen that the speaking voice might be improved. It had its origin many years ago in Glasgow, Scotland.
