Attendees of the annual Iowa Picnic in Lincoln Park, hosted by the Iowa Association of Southern California, sit at picnic tables, eating a meal. The table is covered in plates, silverware, cups, and thermoses. There is a picnic basket with a jacket on it on the ground. People in the background stand. Trees are visible beyond the tables. Text from negative sleeve: 3537- Iowa Picnic. Henry [sic] M. Gage, Judge Edmund Nichols, Fred B. Cruikshank. Iowa Picnic speakers & crowds etc. 2/29/36. [Stamped:] Mar 4 1936 [Harry M.
