Shirley Atkins wears a wedding gown from the era of Lincoln's residency while reading George Washington's acceptance speech in a copy of the New York Daily Gazette which was printed after his election, in addition to these heirlooms there is a silver cake dish used for serving George Washington, a brass mortar and pestle, Lincoln-era Paisley shawl and 1879 book, "Domestic Medicine," sponsored by the Eagle Rock Parent-Teacher Association.
