H. H. West Jr., Frank Willis, and fellow Boy Scouts pose in front of tents. The boys have their arms around each other. A carved animal is attached to a pole and sticks up from a tent just behind one of the boy's heads.
Text from negative sleeve: 53. Los Angeles, Griffith Park, about 1933. Boy Scout Rally: L to R: 4 boys not now identified. H. H. West Jr. and Frank ["Will" crossed out] Willis last. This is the Panther Patrol. Troop 76.
