Photograph, from left to right, of Frank Willis, Dudley Nichols and H. H. West, Jr. as all three boys stand with snowballs in hand and their arms drawn back, ready to throw. Frank Willis is the tallest and is in motion to throw the snowball. Dudley Nichols stands center and is slightly turned to the left as he prepares to throw. H. H. Jr. has one arm draped over Dudley's shoulder and in his other hand he readies to throw a snowball. They stand in front of a camp building. The building extends from the left and ends on the far right of the photograph. It has a window on the far left and far right; another window seems obscured behind the trio of boys. A smokestack rises out of the top of the building towards its center. Another boy stands beyond and to the right of the group of three. He cups a snowball in both hands and looks off to the left. Beyond him, a man leans against the corner of the building and is turned away from the camera towards the right. Power lines run horizontally across the photograph above the building.
Dudley Nichols and H. H. West, Jr. would have been about 15 and 17, respectively, in 1934. They look younger than that in this photograph.
