Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph, from left to right, of Henry Lemberger and Fred Lemberger sitting by a Parrott gun in Crapo Park. Henry holds an umbrella across his lap as he sits on a wooden beam behind the cannon. Fred sits, legs crossed, on a wooden beam near the back end of the cannon. The cannon behind them is pointed out towards the right and overlooks the Mississippi River. It is surrounded with wooden beams and supports that the Lemberger men sit upon. The entirety of the cannon sits atop a planked wooden surface that is flush with the ground. The Mississippi River can be seen in the background on the right and disappears behind the cannon as it approaches the center of the image.
