Two boys on a boat. One boy sits, while the other stands on the edge with his arms crossed. The oars hang into the water. There are parts of other boats visible in the top and bottom right corners of the image.
Text from negative sleeve: 272. Catalina Island. About 1910. Boats in the Avalon Bay. (2 negatives) Elizabeth and Frances West. (3 negatives) Boys diving for coins on arrival of the boat at the pier at Avalon. Sugarloaf in the rear. Now gone. (2 negatives) Bathers on the beach at Avalon. 8 negatives.
