Photograph, from left to right, of (Carl) Edward Salbach, Frances West and Elizabeth West standing at the Los Patos station on the Pacific Electric Rail Road near Sunset Beach. Edward stands left-most with one arm hanging at his side and the other hand near his coat pocket. He wears a button-down coat and an oversized fedora. Frances stands at center with her head slightly turned to the right. She wears a printed button-down coat, white mittens and a knit hat. Elizabeth leans against a canvas-covered object to her right as she crosses her hands in front of her chest. She wears a large button-down knit sweater, white mittens and a knit hat. The trio stands on sand. Behind them, a hut (partial view) stands slightly elevated from the ground on the left. A wooden pole rises directly behind Frances and a narrow sign hangs directly behind Elizabeth. The sign reads, "FOR" horizontally if oriented properly, but it is hanging vertically.
Text from negative sleeve: 301 Cazadores Gun Club. Thanksgiving Day 1912. See Nos.298, 299 and 300. Photo taken at the Los Patos station on the Pacific Electric R.R., where the rigs from the gun clubs came to get their members who came down on the P.E. cars, and where they took them after the shoots to take the cars home. About 3 miles from the clubs. Los Patos is about 2 miles south of Sunset Beach, California. There was nothing there but an old shed in which the horses could go under in case of a storm, which sometimes came up on shooting days. Left to right: Edward Salsbach [sic], son of Carl Salsbach [sic]. Frances West Elizabeth West Daughters of H.H.West
