Ellen Lorene (Pinkie) Lemberger walks a wood plank over a stream while holding a dead rabbit. She gathers her skirt with her other hand. She wears a hat and boots. The stream is lined with rocks. There are trees, mountains, and a fence visible in the background.
Pinkie Lemberger (Ellen Lorene Lemberger Warder) was H. H. West’s first cousin.
Text from negative sleeve: Crafton, Calif., April 21, 1901. I go out hunting and kill a cottontail rabbit. Ella Lorain [sic] Lemberger, known as "Pinkie" daughter of J. L. Lemberger of Ottumwa, Ia. with the rabbit. Pinkie and I clean the rabbit. 3 negatives.
