Water washes over a large swath of the dirt road in the foreground and to the left of the lake. Tire tracks cut through the flooded road. The road winds into the hills in the background.

The lake had risen over the road leading from Palmdale to Tejon Pass. The wet spot in the road in immediate foreground shows how high the water rose. Looking toward Tejon Pass. 2 negatives.
