Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of a rowboat floating near the shoreline of Crane (Quail) Lake. The rowboat sits on the far right of the photograph in the lake's high waters. A small tree is in front of and to the left of it. Writing on the side of the boat reads, "Billy B[?...]." The lake stretches across the entire image. Low hills are visible on the opposite bank in the background. Text from negative sleeve: 390. Crane Lake, Calif. 1910 - 1915. High water on the lake, clear up to the club house steps. 2 negatives. High water, and boat on the lake, taken from porch of club house looking east. Cannot make out who is in the boat. 3 negatives.
