Statue of George Washington in the Public Garden. Washington is mounted on a horse and the statue sits atop a large base. There is a tree branch in the foreground and trees and buildings in the background. There are light streaks at the bottom of the negative.
Text from negative sleeve: 438. Eastern trip, 1914. Boston and vicinity. 4 pictures of statues in this vicinity. One of soldier on horse looks like it was taken in the Boston Commons. Others look like Concord or Lexington. 4 negatives. [Handwritten:] 1 on Common. 3 at Concord.
