Emma Manker sits in a boat while Independence (Inda) Stevens and Margaret Burris are in another boat behind. Manker wears a blouse with a high neck and holds her hands on her knees. Stevens is rowing. Both he and Burris look at the camera. There are trees on the shore behind them.
Text from negative sleeve: 636. East. Red Oak, Iowa. Meads. Lewis Lake, September 1900. See Nos. 634 and 635. Emma Manker in bathing suit in the pool, or Lewis Lake as it was called. Emma Manker in a boat on the Nishabotany [sic] river. Think it is India [sic] Stevens and Maggie Burris in the other boat. Will Mead decorating Emma Manker's hat. 3 negatives.
