Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of a squirrel drinking water from inside a water trough at a rest point along the trail to Inspiration Point. The trough extends from the foreground at left back towards the center. It stands affixed to a rest building at left and atop a stone platform that extends to the right corner. The squirrel sits near the faucet with its tail up and head in the trough. The building and platform are flush to the mountainside in the background at right. A sign above the trough reads, "PLEASE PURCHASE TICKETS AT HOTEL OFFICE FOR SADDLE HORSES." An animal skull is tacked to the roof's eave and hangs high above the trough and platform.
