Photograph of the Burlington Station for the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad designed by Thomas Rogers Kimball and the firm of Graham, Anderson, Probst and White, viewed from across the tracks. The classical revival train station stands in the distance. A pediment extends over the portico on the front of the building which faces right. The building extends back towards the left. On the side of the building, a pediment sits above a colonnade surrounding about 5 windows. In the foreground, railroad tracks run horizontally in front of the station. A train sits on the platform beneath and in front of the side of the station. People can be seen walking on the platform. A fence lines a bridge along the right edge of the frame.
