The front door of the school is open, as are some of the windows. There is a belfry at the top. Text from negative sleeve: 768. East. 1900. Red Oak, Iowa. The North Ward School which was built by George M. West. The old iron Red Bridge on west Coolbaugh street on the road past the Fair Grounds. The Red Oak High School on the east hill.
