Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. View of the town square. At the left, there is a horse and buggy parked next to a horse-drawn wagon. A man and a child walk across the plaza. There are buildings at the left, one of which has a sign that reads, "Wall Paper." An ice truck, pulled by horses, is visible down the road, along with people walking nearby. Streetcar tracks run through the center, wires hang over the center, and a light hangs down above the tracks. At the right, there are other buildings, one with an awning in front, another with a turret at the end, and a horse pulling a cart. Text from negative sleeve: 788. East. Red Oak, Iowa. 1900. South east corner of the square as seen from the south west corner.
