Text from negative sleeve: 806. East. Red Oak, Iowa, 1917. East Ward school, looking south west. The slats have been cleaned out of the belfry and the bell shows. A vestibule has been built at the top of the stairway in the corner, and a new stairway may be seen around the left corner.
