Forrest Whitaker and Josie Shaw were the siblings of H. H. West's second wife, Mertie. Abraham Whitaker was their father. Agnes Whitaker was Forrest's wife.

Forrest walks behind her wearing a cardigan and hat. On the ground, there is a camp stove, along with small tables, pots, pants, and dishes. The other three sit at a table at the left.
