Photograph of Forrest Whitaker standing in front of his Ford to fill the radiator near Rock Creek. He stands at center, facing left. His car is parked to the left of him and faces right. Forrest stands in front of it. Only the car's front end is visible, the rest extends beyond the left edge of the frame. The hood of the car is popped and Forrest holds a can to pour water onto the radiator. A large, flat parking area extends behind and to the right of Forrest. A chaparral-covered hillside rises in the near distance.
Text from negative sleeve: 866. Rock Creek trip 1941. We drove down the road to the first bridge across Rock Creek, and parked car to fish awhile. When we got ready to leave, Forrest Whitaker hunted up an old can and filled his radiator.
